About Me

Experience You Can Count On

In 1980, I knew I wanted to go into the healthcare profession.  And to this day, that passion and dedication has not changed.  I have hand to opportunity to work with a plethora of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, and other Healthcare Professionals in various fields ranging from Family Practice and Pediatrics to Gynecology, Cardiology, and General Surgery.

My mission as an Independent Legal Nurse Consultant is to assist the legal team in interpreting medical records and finding all the facts no matter the outcome.

A graduate of Hampton University, I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing with a Minor in Psychology in 2008.  I am an active member of the American Nurses Association, Virginia Nurses Association, and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.

Original from Chicago, IL, I am a devote Chicago Sport Teams Fan!!!  I love my Bears, Bulls, Cubbies, and White Sox.  in 1987, my family moved from Illinois to Memphis, TN where I attended Raleigh Egypt Junior and Senior High Schools.  I graduated in 1992 and moved back to Chicago in 1993.

October 5, 1993, I started my Naval Career at Recruit Training Command, Orlando FL for Basic Training.  My first duty station was the Naval War College, Newport, RI.  I worked diligently to obtain Hospital Corpsman "A" School in Great Lakes, IL and my first hospital command was Naval Ambulatory Care Center, Groton, CT.  While working in the Primary Care Clinic as my primary duty, I obtained my certification as an EMT Basic and as a Registered Medical Assistant.  I also participated in the Navy's National Apprenticeship Program for Licensed Practical Nurse.  After completing my service in the Navy, I was able to challenge the Virginia Boards for Licensed Practical Nursing while attending Hampton University for my BSN.

I have conducted research on Mental Health and Cultural Barriers in Men and was invited to become a Psychology Major.  I stuck with my original plans and became a nurse and obtained a minor in Psychology.
